‘Magnolia Lung Music’ – March 2020

Gratitude for the breath of life as the world became silent locked down and witnessed Nature in her beauty and glory!

Breath:
see how

the magnolias
play for you
their sundrenched
exuberant
music

Seed

Musings on the life force slumbering in seeds and buds, on a cold, moonlit night, under the stars.

Is it the sun’s love
that coaxes life
from hiding in the seed
out into being;
spirals of colour,
swirling,
turning,
whirling,
light piercing shell?

Or does the see itself
yearn to be other
than trapped
within cocooned walls
And wish to tear itself asunder
in search of Light?

– Caroline Flavin

I AM

Words reflecting a meditation practice of unraveling,    un-being and becoming.

I AM
THE UNITED STATES OF BEING
EMBODIED,
ENSOULED,
ENRAPTURED,
ALIVE,
ON FIRE

– Caroline Flavin

Love song of Aengus and Caer

by Caroline Flavin | Poetry

A reimagining of the love story of Aengus and Caer: lines inspired in Connemara, Ireland.

Aengus, one of the Tuatha Dé Danann and a god associated with youth, love and poetic inspiration, seeks to find his love who appears to him in a dream only to find she is in the form of a swan..
